The Food Access Workgroup meets on the third Wednesday of every month from 11am to 12pm.

The 2025 – 2030 Arizona Statewide Food Action Plan is intended to be utilized as a shared guiding approach for informing advocacy, capacity building, and investment opportunities to reimagine and transform Arizona’s food system.

Over the next five years, workgroups will be used to carry out and track the progress of the three priorities (food access; climate smart foodways; and policy and advocacy) included in the food action plan. Workgroup members will determine how frequently they meet and will provide updates at quarterly AZFSN Food Action Plan meetings. We anticipate the time commitment to be approximately 2-3 hours per month. Workgroup members are expected to:

• Participate for a minimum of one year
• Attend most workgroup meetings
• Contribute to collective efforts focusing on the workgroup priority goal

We encourage you to focus on one workgroup in order to better resource the workgroup and yourself.
